Ayoub Berdai

Ayoub Berdai is a Partner at BFA & Co., a member of the Casablanca Bar, a professor of law at the Casablanca International University and the current Secretary General of the Mizan Arbitration and Mediation centre.  He holds a Master’s degree in business law from the Casablanca Faculty of Law, a postgraduate diploma in national and international arbitration law from the University of Montpellier, and has been a Ph.D. candidate in arbitration law at the Casablanca Faculty of Law since 2021.

Ayoub regularly advises the firm’s clients on various IT and privacy issues.  His professional practice is both international and multidisciplinary, serving the needs of clients of different sizes and origins.  He specialises in various legal areas, including compliance and data protection, pharmaceutical law, investment law, international finance, as well as domestic and international arbitration.  His practice reflects the globalised nature of modern business.

Ayoub has extensive experience and has been involved in some significant arbitration proceedings, notably under the auspices of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

He is proficient in Arabic, French and English and has published several articles, particularly on data protection, arbitration and mediation.
