About Andriy Selepey
Andriy Selepey got a degree in international law in 2004. He is a founding partner of Selepey, Volkovetsky & Partners since 2008.
Presently Andriy co-heads firm’s insolvency & restructuring practice and dispute resolution practice. He also specializes in real estate and corporate law. Within these practice areas he is in charge of elaboration of entire strategies for each new project handled by the firm.
Andriy applies and promotes his method of multi-scenario legal strategies, which has proven to be efficient in several high-risk bankruptcy & litigation projects. The mentioned approach allows SVP to overcome risks connected with rule of law being in the initial stage of formation in Ukraine (including corruption & government pressure risks).
Andriy Selepey together with Yaroslav Volkovetsky are co-authors of the firm’s innovative product in revitalization of distressed assets, which has become the corner stone of the firm’s new business strategy. The product has had a huge impact on providing access to justice to those business owners, who became victims of hostile takeovers and other rude infringements of property rights.
Andriy actively promotes change in legal profession. In 2018 he got an MBA degree having devoted his research to the topic of change of legal profession and transformation of law firms. In the result, work of lawyers in SVP has become part of wider logic of full revitalization of legally destressed assets. Selepey, Volkovetsky & Partners has become united by the firm’s new mission of “Revitalizing Ukraine”.
Andriy Selepey works with large projects on full revitalization of legally distressed assets, which usually last for 3-5 years and are followed with high risk and complexity.
