Ana Cristina Pimentel graduated in Law in 1991, in Belgium at Université Catholique de Louvain-la-Neuve.
She is a Lawyer registered at the Portuguese Bar Association since 1994.
She developed her professional activity mainly in the areas of Maritime Law, Transport Law and Insurance.
In 2003 she obtained her Post-graduation diploma in Maritime Law at the London Metropolitan University in the UK.
Since 2004, as an invited teacher at the Escola Superior Náutica Infante D. Henrique (Portuguese Maritime College) she has been giving lectures on various subjects of Maritime Law and Transport Law. She has also been a speaker on various seminars organized by different entities within her areas of activity.
