Simone Rees

Simone acts for large corporate clients, private companies and high net worth individuals in all aspects of commercial dispute resolution and alternative dispute resolution (including arbitrations, expert determinations and mediations).

Simone’s particular areas of expertise include commercial property, trustee and fiduciary obligations and insolvency.  She is also experienced in enforcing restraints of trade and advising employers in relation to the protection of confidential information.

Prior to establishing Buchanan Rees Dispute Lawyers, Simone worked in the commercial litigation teams of several top-tier, national law firms where she advised blue chip corporate and government clients in high value disputes.

Together with Luke Buchanan, Simone founded Buchanan Rees Dispute Lawyers in order to provide a boutique commercial litigation offering, with a focus on technical excellence and outstanding client service.
