Shashank Verma

Shashank is a highly accomplished senior disputes lawyer with over two decades of extensive experience in appellate court advocacy, domestic and international arbitration, and commercial litigation in India. His practice areas encompass domestic and international arbitration, commercial litigation, administrative and constitutional law, banking and finance, construction and projects, media and telecommunications, mining, energy and natural resources, corporate and commercial law, and white-collar crime.

Beginning his career at one of India’s largest law firms in Mumbai, Shashank honed his skills before transitioning to private practice. He joined the chambers of a distinguished senior counsel, where he gained valuable experience representing clients before commercial courts, arbitral tribunals, and appellate courts.

Shashank has advised and represented leading public sector undertakings, banks, financial institutions, multinational corporations, non-governmental organizations, educational institutions, and universities throughout his career. He has appeared before various arbitral tribunals, commercial and criminal courts, including the Supreme Court of India.

In 2015, Shashank led the restructuring and reorganization of RPV Legal, an esteemed law practice with a history spanning over 85 years.
