Ish Jain

Ish Jain is an International Arbitrator and Senior Partner at Regius Legal. He is presently empanelled as an Arbitrator with more than 26 Arbitration institutes including in the UK, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, British Virgin Islands, Mauritius, Maldives as well as various High Courts in India. He is a renowned conflict resolution expert with 18 years of experience in Arbitration and 13 years PQE. He is known for his innovative and engaging ways to assist businesses, institutions, non-profits, governments, and individuals prevent, manages, and resolve conflict. He has further, garnered experience in Arbitration cases relating to Technology, Aviation, and Space law disputes. His repertoire of work covers the length and breadth of ADR matters, including multi-jurisdictional arbitrations. He has appeared and participated as an Advocate/Counsel in more than 120 Arbitration cases before the Tribunal and various Courts.

He also has diverse experience in transactional as well as litigation matters in the real estate and construction sector, as well as white-collar crime. He is renowned for handling disputes involving a multitude of parties with conflicting and complicated pleadings. Key Work Highlights

• Advised and represented M/s K.S. Chamankar Enterprises developer in the arbitration claim of 1028 crores as well as the suit filed by L&T Reality for specific performance as well as the arbitration invoked by M/s K.S. Chamankar Enterprises against the state of Maharashtra for specific performance and in alternate damages of approx. 700 Million USD.
• Passed an Arbitration award in claim & counter-claim filed for approx. 15 Million USD equivalent in damages in a Construction Contract against a Contractor based on Hudson’s formula. The Award was challenged in National High Court in Bombay and the award was upheld.
• Advised and represented Khazana Jewellers in a dispute with respect to private Aircraft from Gulfstream, USA, and in its subsequent arbitration in London.
• Advised and represented in an Arbitration claim filed against Paytm involving 22,000 customers.
