Fabio Toriello

A graduate magna cum laude (1990) at Genoa Law School, Fabio joined the Firm as partner in 1994. Prior to joining the Firm, he had worked in the UK marine underwriting industry during his University studies and spent a trainee period at DeOrchis & Partnes, New York.  He also worked for three years as associate with a leading law Italian firm  specialized in shipping law. He is Professor of private law at the University of Sassari. For many years he taught information law at the same university and was also lecturer in legal English at the Genoa Law School and presently at the Sassari Law School. His published works include a volume on the legal position of foreign citizens and entities in a comparative law perspective; a volume on EU law integration through ECJ case-law; a volume on freight forwarding law. He is general editor of a volume on consumer contracts and a volume on product liability. Offer author of more than 80 articles, he is a regular contributor to journals on various topics in the areas of EU law; international commercial law, and shipping law.
