He is the founder and managing partner of Blasio Legal Advisors, a firm of lawyers that operates in Italy, Malta and Switzerland in consultancy and specialized assistance in the field of corporate governance, planning and protection of family assets, including in the field of business succession and operations of restructuring.
Raised in Rome, he attended the Military Academy of the Guardia di Finanza. A military helicopter pilot, he held operational and command roles, remaining in the Corps with the rank of captain for over a decade.
Graduated in law from the La Sapienza University of Rome and in economic and financial security sciences from the University of Tor Vergata, he has been a lawyer since 1995.
He has held the position of judicial and extraordinary commissioner several times in the context of procedures for large companies in a state of insolvency, including Postal Market and the Giacomelli Group. For many years he served as compliance and anti-money laundering manager for asset management companies and as a member of the Supervisory Body pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001 on behalf of banking institutions.
He has been a professor of tax law and financial science, among others, at the Universities of Trento, Viterbo, Camerino and the European University of Rome; today he is a professor of estate planning and wealth planning in the master in tax law at the University School of Italian Switzerland (Supsi).
He is the author of numerous monographs on tax law and generational transition.
