GSK recruits former German ambassador to Singapore Folkmar Stoecker as Of Counsel

GSK Stockmann + Kollegen has recruited as Of Counsel Folkmar W.O. Stoecker, who until 2008 was Germany’s ambassador to Singapore.

Folkmar Stoecker will help GSK Stockmann + Kollegen in further developing its international activities, particularly in Asia. In recruiting Folkmar Stoecker, GSK Stockmann + Kollegen is expanding its presence in the Asian region and acknowledging the rapidly growing importance of the Asian market.

By opening its office in Singapore, GSK Stockmann (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., in 2009 and recently recruiting Folkmar Stoecker, GSK Stockmann + Kollegen now has a base for its growing commitment to German-Asian commerce that will allow it to comprehensively represent its clients’ interests both in Germany as well as in Asia. At the same time, the new office will act as a contact point for the growing number of Asian companies pursuing interests in Europe, particularly in Germany.
