FTPA Announces New Litigation Partner

Focuaud Tchekhoff Pochet & Associes (FTPA) has recruited a partner from independent rival Armfelt Associes.

The firm has hired Robert Corcos (pictured) as a partner. He brings with him a three-associate team, which focuses on litigation. Corcos began his career in-house in 1984, working at the forerunners to AREVA and NORTEL. He launched his own small practice in 1996 before helping to create Armfelt & Associes in 2006.

Corcos follows on from FTPA’s recruitment of Frederic Navarro as a partner last year. Navarro, an employment and labour law specialist, moved from Dewey & LeBoeuf where he was counsel. FTPA, however, recently lost two partners to when Martine Samuelian and Guillaume Berruyer announced their departures to Jeantet Associes.
