In February 2020 the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) passed a resolution to suspend all payment transactions of the payment system ePayment Systems Limited (ePayments).
The company reported yesterday that it has been working actively to improve and restore its verification and control system.
ePayments plans to update its customer base to provide access to the funds and user accounts in the nearest future. The company will amend its compliance procedure and will no longer operate crypto currencies.
ePayments is one of the few payment systems resuming work after a high-profile scandal. Can it really succeed? Will it win back customer trust? That remains to be seen.
