Sandy Fliderman is an experienced CTO and Entrepreneur with expertise in cutting-edge technology, big data analytics and large-scale operational systems. He has been involved in all levels of technology firms from start-up to publicly traded companies with areas of focus across multiple industries. Sandy has expertise in developing new technology platforms including holding several patents in the cybersecurity space. Most importantly, Sandy is passionate about innovation and how technology can be used to improve and modernize outdated ways of doing things. Sandy is currently a member of the Forbes Technology Council as well as the Florida Business Journals Leadership Trust.
Sandy is the Co-Founder and President of Industry FinTech (“IFT”), an innovative, digital back-office platform supporting Funds, SPVs, REITs, Deals and Private Companies. The IFT proprietary platform allows firms to automate back-office functions including finance, accounting, investor relations, compliance, HR, reporting and more while meeting regulatory and fiduciary control requirements. With IFT, entrepreneurial firms can now access a modern back-office platform to more effectively scale and lower costs while improving the investor experience.
Sandy was also the CTO at VerifyMe, Inc (NASDAQ:VRME) for over 9 years. VerifyMe is a pioneer in patented physical brand protection and anti-counterfeiting solutions. At VerifyMe, Sandy had multiple patents issued and helped create the technology used by millions of products and people around the world.
Prior to his current roles, Sandy was the CIO at VEEDIMS, LLC, an IOT technology company that revolutionized the way power and data is distributed and data collected in the aerospace and marine markets.
Sandy was the co-founder and CTO of Zaah.com, a full service digital media company that developed big brand websites, mobile apps, games, and social media content and strategy. As CTO, Sandy directed a team of over 300 personnel and oversaw the company’s strategy and development teams. Notable clients of Zaah which Sandy successfully oversaw include Maxim, Disney, Vistaprint, The Michael J. Fox Foundation, Kodak, Fuji, 1800flowers, Target and J.C. Penny.
In 2002 Sandy started consulting for DataTreasury Corporation and Infinity Payment Systems where he oversaw the development of the first-ever IP-based credit card terminal that ran over the Ethernet with encryption.
Sandy began his business career at J.P. Morgan & Co. on the bank’s IT team. He spent his first 5 years in IT on the trading floor on Wall Street.
