Koko Motlanalo Glory Khumalo

Motlanalo Inc. is led by Founding Partner and Chief Executive Officer, Koko Motlanalo Glory Khumalo, CA (SA). Koko has over twenty years’ experience in the Big Four professional services firms in various leadership positions. She has vast experience in external audit, internal audit, consulting, governance and risk management and services. From 2012 to 2016, Koko was a partner at EY Africa where she was the Africa Leader for Risk Management and served in the Executive Committees of both South Africa and Africa Region. She reported to the Africa Chief Executive Officer and Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA) Risk Management Leader. Her role as the executive responsible for Risk Management included internal audit, legal, compliance, independence, risk management and regulatory services in EY Sub Saharan Africa. This included compliance to audit regulations. Prior to her departure, Koko was appointed to take the role of Government and Public Sector Leader for South Africa in addition to her Risk Leader.

Prior to this, Koko was a partner at PwC and held various leadership positions, including Managing Partner of PwC’s operations in Mpumalanga and Limpopo. She also served in the PwC Governing Board and the Southern Africa Executive Committee, being the first female to be appointed in this role. Prior to serving articles, Koko worked for the South African Breweries and Standard Bank of South Africa. Koko continues to serve in various national strategic committees that guide in national policy formulation.
