After WH Cork’s death and a period of war service, his sons, Sir Kenneth and Norman Cork focused on building the business to become the leading name in the field of restructuring and insolvency. In 1980 the firm merged with Cooper & Lybrand, latterly becoming PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). In 2010 Cork Gully was bought out of PwC by the current management, with Stephen Cork, great grandson of the original founder William Henry Cork, acquiring the firm and establishing Cork Gully LLP in London. Stephen Cork serves as Managing Partner with over 30 years' experience focusing on restructuring and special situations, having specialised in restructuring and insolvency since 1989 and qualified in 1993.
