Gerald Edelman Advises on the Sale of Whisky Me to The Whisky Shop

Gerald Edelman announces the successful sale of Whisky Me Limited (“Whisky Me”), the subscription-based whisky service, to Glenkeir Whiskies Ltd, owner of The Whisky Shop, the UK’s largest specialist whisky retailer.

Founded in 2017, Whisky Me has revolutionized whisky tasting by delivering premium single malt and world whiskies directly to subscribers in unique recyclable pouches. With its innovative approach and curated selection, the business has cultivated a loyal subscriber base and gained recognition for bringing whisky to a new generation of enthusiasts.

The business gained widespread recognition in 2021 when it appeared on the TV show, “Dragons’ Den”, where it secured investment from three dragons: Deborah Meaden, Tej Lalvani and Peter Jones, becoming only the sixth business in the history of the show to secure three dragons.

This acquisition marks an exciting chapter for Whisky Me, aligning it with The Whisky Shop’s expansive retail and ecommerce network and shared passion for showcasing exceptional whiskies.
