Currently serving as the Managing Partner at The Heart Legal in Kraków, Poland, Jakub possesses over a decade of professional expertise. Prior to this role, he gained extensive experience working for leading law firms and serving as Chief Legal Officer for a prominent software house. His credentials also include significant roles on the supervisory boards of various technology companies. He holds advanced legal qualifications, including a Master’s degree in Law from Uniwersytet Marii Curie-Skłodowskiej and specialized studies in international project management at AGH University of Krakow. He completed his advocate training at the District Chamber of Advocates in Cracow and became an advocate in 2017, further enhancing his expertise.

Jakub’s selection as our exclusive Technology Law member in Poland is a testament to his successful track record, particularly his deep expertise in handling venture capital (VC) transactions, with over 100 deals completed in the new technology sector. Leading a multidisciplinary team, Jakub is dedicated to supporting startups and IT companies, providing active, day-to-day legal support. His unique perspective is enhanced by his role as an active investor in tech startups and his contributions as a mentor in acceleration programs like ‘Incredibles’. He also collaborates closely with key market infrastructure organizations (such as Innovations Hub), combining legal knowledge with practical business insight to ensure clients receive tailored advice for their innovative ventures.
