Prior to establishing Armila & Rako, she worked at a leading law firm in Jakarta and gained international experience at a global firm. While she has worked with clients across various industries, her expertise lies in the energy and natural resources sector. Eva’s practical approach and deep understanding of the mining industry are evident from her board positions at multiple mining companies. She has also been involved in resource investments, conducting due diligence, preparing transaction documentation, restructuring corporate structures, managing debt, and handling distressed assets.

Eva is a highly respected and accomplished mining law practitioner in Indonesia, recognized for her significant contributions to the field. She has played a pivotal role in shaping mining legislation, notably by collaborating with esteemed organizations such as PERHAPI and IMI to prepare proposals for the revision of the 2009 Mining Law. Eva’s leadership abilities shine through her coordination of the white paper and proposal on Bid Price for mining concessions, working alongside IAGI, PERHAPI, MGEI, and EMD.

Eva’s expertise extends beyond legal advisory roles. She has led the Mining Investment and Governance (MInGov) team for Indonesia, commissioned by IMI and supported by the World Bank and the Directorate General Mineral and Coal.
