Spanish boutiques Larrauri Abogados & J Marti Abogados have merged in a rare example of a combination between two Spanish firms.
The combined firm, which will has 18 lawyers and a turnover of around €2.3m, is called Larrauri & Marti Abogados. It has offices in Madrid, Bilbao and Malaga and cover IP, labour and tax law matters.
Name partner Josu Larrauri said: “We have been collaborating for years what has highlighted the existence of deep professional coincidences based on both efficiency and personalised treatment to our clients. Right now, due to the faculty granted by the reciprocal deep knowledge of our firms, we are sure that the new course taken by the firm shall be a success”.
The news is the second Iberian merger in just 24 hours. Spanish firm Uria Menéndez has also agreed to takeover Portuguese law firm Proenca de Carvalho & Associados.
