My series, “Kosovo’s new private international law(LIGJI NR.08/L-028 PËR TË DREJTËN NDËRKOMBËTARE PRIVATE) in Japanese translation⑶”, is published in Koseki-Jihoh, a Japanese legal and civil registration journal.

In this publication, I have dealt with the translation of the provisions of Kosovo’s private international law regarding the effects of marriage, parent-child relationships, and maintenance.

It largely applies, mutatis mutandis, the provisions of Council Regulation (EU) 2016/1103 of 24 June 2016 implementing enhanced cooperation in the area of jurisdiction, applicable law and the recognition and enforcement of decisions in matters of matrimonial property regimes.
