Grenada permits dependent children up to age 30 under similar education conditions, and its family-inclusive fee structure through the University of the West Indies Fund option can cover up to six family members under a single contribution.

Antigua & Barbuda extends dependent child eligibility to age 30 for unmarried, financially dependent children in full-time education, and includes parents and grandparents from age 55.

Dominica covers dependent children up to age 30 in education, plus parents and grandparents from age 65.

St Lucia allows dependent children up to age 30 in full-time education and parents or grandparents from age 65.

European residency and golden visa programmes, such as Portugal and Greece, generally cover spouses, dependent children up to 18 (or up to 26 for full-time students), and dependent parents, though the specific age and dependency tests vary by country.

Adding Dependants After the Main Application Is Approved

Most programmes allow dependants to be added after the primary applicant has already obtained citizenship or residency, such as a new spouse through marriage or a newborn child. This is generally a more straightforward process than the original application, though it still requires fresh due diligence and, in most cases, a separate processing fee per dependant. Newborn children in particular can often be added through a simplified registration process rather than a full application.
